International Project Highlights Indian Creative Talent

The music video for “Siir Siir” was filmed across several well-known locations in Morocco, including Casablanca and the renowned Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat. Directed by Moroccan filmmaker Abderafia, the production combines music, dance, and cultural elements from different parts of the world, creating a global visual experience ahead of the tournament.

For Rajit Dev, being associated with a project of this scale represents years of dedication to dance and choreography. He described the opportunity as a proud moment, especially because an Indian choreographer is contributing to a production that will be viewed by audiences across the globe.

A Journey From Mumbai to the World Stage

Reflecting on his career, Rajit said that he spent many years watching international performers and dreaming of participating in global projects. He noted that working on the FIFA World Cup anthem has brought that ambition to life.

According to him, the experience carries personal significance because it symbolizes the journey from a young dancer in Mumbai to a creative professional representing India on one of the world’s biggest sporting and entertainment platforms. He also highlighted the involvement of Team RDX and his dancers, who appear alongside him in the music video.

Rajit emphasized that his long-term goal remains unchanged: to introduce Indian dance influences to wider international audiences while blending them with his own creative style. He believes global collaborations can help showcase the versatility and appeal of Indian dance traditions.

Expanding Opportunities Through Global Recognition

The choreographer stated that his involvement with FIFA-related projects has opened new avenues beyond India. He expressed optimism about future international opportunities while continuing to focus on developing dance-driven storytelling through music and visual performances.

At present, Rajit is directing and choreographing multiple music videos. In addition, he is working as an associate choreographer with celebrated choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant on one of India’s major upcoming film projects. He said that several creative ventures are currently underway, with dance continuing to be the central element of his work.

Strong Portfolio of Popular Music Productions

Over the years, Rajit Dev has built an extensive portfolio across music videos and large-scale stage productions. His choreography credits include widely recognized songs such as “Aye Haye,” “Payal,” and “Morni” by Badshah, “Zaalim” featuring Nora Fatehi and Badshah, and Harrdy Sandhu’s “Bijlee Bijlee.”

He has also contributed to previous FIFA-related productions, including the anthem “Light The Sky,” further strengthening his association with international entertainment events.

Experience in Major Global Events

Beyond music videos, Rajit has been involved in several high-profile live events and performances. His work includes creative contributions to the FIFA Fan Festival Qatar 2022, the ICC World Cup Opening Ceremony 2026, Untold Festival Dubai 2025, and the Shillong Music Festival.
