AndhraPradeshPolitics – Coalition Government Marks Two Years of Governance Progress
AndhraPradeshPolitics – Andhra Pradesh’s coalition government has completed two years in office, a milestone that leaders described as a reflection of public trust and democratic commitment. On the occasion, Telugu Desam Party State President and Gajuwaka MLA Palla Srinivasa Rao conveyed his greetings to the people and said June 4 represents more than the formation of an administration, symbolizing the aspirations of citizens who sought a new direction for the state.

Government Highlights Two Years of Administration
Speaking in a statement issued on Thursday, Srinivasa Rao said the coalition government came to power with a strong mandate centered on rebuilding Andhra Pradesh and strengthening public institutions. Over the past two years, he noted, the administration has focused on maintaining a balance between welfare measures, infrastructure development, and transparent governance practices.
According to him, the government has consistently worked toward implementing the commitments made during the election campaign. He stated that several key promises have been translated into policies and programs aimed at improving the lives of people across different sections of society.
Early Decisions Focused on Public Welfare
Srinivasa Rao said the government’s priorities became clear immediately after taking office under Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. He pointed to a number of decisions introduced during the initial phase of the administration, describing them as measures designed to address long-standing public concerns.
Among the initiatives highlighted were the announcement of a Mega DSC recruitment drive intended to create employment opportunities in the education sector, the repeal of the Land Titling Act, and an increase in social security pension benefits. He also referred to the reopening of Anna Canteens, which provide affordable meals to economically disadvantaged groups.
The TDP leader stated that these actions reflected the government’s effort to respond directly to issues affecting ordinary citizens and vulnerable communities.
Welfare Programmes Reach Multiple Sections
The coalition government’s flagship welfare agenda was also emphasized during the review of its two-year tenure. Srinivasa Rao said the implementation of the “Super Six” promises has played an important role in extending support to various social and economic groups.
He cited programmes such as Annadata Sukhibhava for farmers, Talliki Vandanam for students and families, Deepam 2.0 for household welfare, and Stree Shakti for women’s empowerment. According to him, these initiatives have helped ensure that government assistance reaches intended beneficiaries while contributing to social development.
The MLA maintained that the administration’s welfare strategy has been designed to deliver measurable outcomes rather than remaining limited to policy announcements.
Youth Employment Remains a Priority
Srinivasa Rao also stressed that creating opportunities for young people has remained a major focus of the government during the past two years. He said the administration has taken steps to encourage employment generation and skill development, aiming to strengthen prospects for the state’s growing youth population.
He added that efforts to expand opportunities in education, public service recruitment, and other sectors are intended to support long-term economic growth while addressing the expectations of young citizens.
Commitment to Future Development
Reflecting on the government’s journey so far, Srinivasa Rao said the coalition administration remains committed to advancing Andhra Pradesh through a combination of welfare, development, and accountable governance. He expressed confidence that the policies introduced during the first two years would continue to contribute to the state’s progress in the years ahead.
