Horror in Uttar Pradesh: Within 20 days of her marriage, a newlywed lady was reportedly raped by her own brother-in-law in a horrific criminal case. In addition, her husband attempted to quiet her by threatening to end his own life if she disclosed the occurrence. The woman went to the police after becoming frustrated with her in-laws’ pestering. This event took place in the Uttar Pradesh district of Bareilly, and it has created a lot of controversy in the neighborhood.

The victim married a young guy from the Baradari neighborhood on December 11th, according to the report. On January 1st, tragedy struck as she was dreaming of a blissful married life. Her brother-in-law, who was the culprit, went into the house, locked the door from the inside, and attacked her when no one else was there. The accused threatened to murder the victim if she didn’t keep quiet, despite her attempts to resist and cries for assistance.
The victim, devastated by the experience, sobbed as she confided in her spouse in the hopes of receiving help. Rather, if she reported the crime, he threatened to commit suicide. She was momentarily silenced by this emotional blackmail. But once she made the decision to pursue justice, she was viciously attacked by her mother-in-law, brother-in-law, and husband, who threatened to punish her severely if she spoke out. She finally worked up the guts to report the abuse to the authorities since she could no longer stand it any longer.
The Baradari police have filed a case against the mother-in-law, brother-in-law, and spouse based on the victim’s allegation. Dhananjay Pandey, the in-charge of the police station, said that a thorough inquiry is being conducted into the incident and that the offenders would face harsh consequences.
