Jodhpur: In a truck and trailer collided, burning the driver alive
Jodhpur: A trailer driver was burned alive in a terrible traffic collision on the Bharatmala Expressway in the Jodhpur area of Rajasthan, which resulted in a huge fire.

For many hours, traffic on the highway was halted, and another individual suffered severe injuries.
Around 10 p.m. on Sunday, an accident happened on the Bharatmala Highway between the villages of Ratan Nagar and Chandaliya, which are within the jurisdiction of the Osian police station.
A trailer from Punjab to Gujarat was transporting clay needed in the production of tiles, according to Osian SHO Rajendra Chaudhary. It collided with a truck carrying peanuts that was traveling ahead of it as it approached the Ratan Nagar-Chandaliya section. A huge fire was started when the trailer lost control and collided into the barrier due to the incident. The trailer’s cabin was quickly enveloped in flames.
The cleaner suffered severe injuries, while the driver, locked inside, was burnt alive and perished. Villagers from the area raced to the site and tried to put out the fire using water tankers pulled by tractors that were loaded from adjacent tube wells. However, the extremely combustible substance caused the fire to escalate. After almost an hour, a fire tender from Osian, which is roughly 30 kilometers distant, arrived at the location. After over two hours of work, firefighters were able to contain the fire.
Due of the extreme heat, the peanuts in the truck that was involved in the crash also caught fire. According to the police, the truck driver saved his life by making a safe getaway.
With flames visible from a great distance, the enormous fire spread fear across the neighborhood.
Due to the collision, there was a five-kilometer traffic bottleneck on both sides of the motorway. After arriving at the scene, Osian police rerouted cars to avoid traffic jams.
Locals said that officials from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and administrative authorities arrived at the scene late, despite the incident’s seriousness. They said that the trucks were let to burn entirely before the fire department arrived because there were no plans in place for swift firefighting.
