Recognition for Top-Performing Students

The felicitation programme will celebrate students who secured remarkable results in examinations conducted by the state and central education boards. The Uttar Pradesh Board examinations for High School and Intermediate students were held between February 18 and March 12, with results announced on April 23. Meanwhile, the Central Board of Secondary Education conducted Class 12 examinations from February 17 to April 10, releasing results on May 13. CBSE Class 10 results were declared earlier on April 15.

The state government views such recognition events as an opportunity to motivate students and acknowledge the hard work of both learners and educators who contribute to academic success.

Welfare Distribution Programme in Bijnor

Following the Lucknow event, the Chief Minister is scheduled to travel to Bijnor, where he will oversee the distribution of several government benefits. During the programme, land ownership certificates will be handed over to families displaced from Pakistan, former military personnel, and eligible leaseholders.

In addition, beneficiaries of key government schemes will receive approval letters and financial assistance. These include support under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) and the Chief Minister Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan (CM-YUVA).

Support for Housing and Entrepreneurship

The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is designed to improve access to affordable housing for economically weaker and middle-income households through financial assistance and credit-linked subsidies. The initiative has played a significant role in expanding housing opportunities for eligible families across the country.

The CM-YUVA programme focuses on promoting entrepreneurship among educated and skilled youth. Through the scheme, aspiring entrepreneurs can access interest-free loans of up to Rs 5 lakh to establish and expand their own businesses. The initiative seeks to create employment opportunities while encouraging self-reliance among young people.

Launch of Self-Help Group Initiative

As part of the Bijnor visit, Adityanath will also inaugurate the Vidur Prerna Cafe. The facility will be operated by women associated with self-help groups in collaboration with the Common Service Centre network. The project is intended to strengthen women’s participation in economic activities and support community-based development.

Highlighting the broader vision behind these initiatives, the Chief Minister stated that recognising talent, encouraging hard work, empowering women, and ensuring welfare reaches every section of society remain central to the state’s development goals.

Recent Inauguration in Lucknow

Earlier this week, Adityanath inaugurated the Nausena Shaurya Vatika in Lucknow, an open-air naval museum and memorial dedicated to the contributions and sacrifices of India’s naval forces.

During the inauguration ceremony, he stressed the importance of maintaining a secure environment for sustained development. Reflecting on the state’s past challenges, he noted that improved law and order has created conditions that support economic growth and public welfare initiatives. He also underlined the responsibility of citizens to respect and honour members of the armed forces who safeguard the nation’s borders.
