Focus on Tourism and Creative Growth
Over the last ten years, Netflix has partnered with filmmakers, writers, and creators from across India to produce content inspired by the country’s varied communities, landscapes, customs, and cultural heritage. The latest initiative supports the Government of India’s broader objective of using storytelling as a meaningful way to preserve and promote the nation’s civilisational legacy. At the same time, it is expected to encourage cultural tourism, create new opportunities for the creative sector, and strengthen India’s image as a destination where history, traditions, and modern storytelling come together for audiences worldwide.
