Technology – President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping opened a closely watched round of talks in Beijing on Thursday as both nations seek to address growing disagreements over trade, technology access, and regional security matters.
Trump was received with full state honours at the Great Hall of the People, where Xi personally welcomed the American leader at the start of a significant bilateral meeting expected to influence the future direction of relations between Washington and Beijing.
