Welcome – Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon has shared her experience of returning to the screen alongside longtime colleagues Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty in the recently released comedy entertainer Welcome to the Jungle.

Raveena said the film’s set carried the warmth of a reunion, with many familiar faces from different stages of her career coming together for the project. According to the actor, the experience went beyond a routine shoot because several members of the ensemble had known one another for years.
A Familiar Atmosphere on Set
Speaking about the film, Raveena said that working with friends and former co-stars created an easy and enjoyable environment. She described the shoot as a relaxed gathering where the cast gradually came together to make a film.
“Most of the actors I worked with are old friends. Shooting with them felt like a fun get-together, and somewhere along the way, we ended up making a good film,” she said.
She also praised director Ahmed Khan for coordinating a large group of experienced performers. Raveena credited the filmmaker for keeping the production organised while handling a cast that includes actors from different generations of Hindi cinema.
Ahmed Khan Directs the New Franchise Chapter
Welcome to the Jungle has been directed by Ahmed Khan and serves as the latest chapter in the Welcome franchise. The series is known for its comedy-driven stories, ensemble performances and familiar faces from mainstream Hindi cinema.
The new film brings together Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Raveena Tandon, along with Farida Jalal, Kiran Kumar, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Paresh Rawal, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani, Krishna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda and Mika Singh, among others.
Raveena’s Bond With Jacqueline and Disha
Earlier, Raveena had also spoken about spending time with Jacqueline Fernandez and Disha Patani during the making of the film. The three actors reportedly connected while caring for a stray puppy found during the shoot.
The puppy later became part of Raveena’s family, adding a personal memory to her experience on the production. Her comments reflected the close friendships that developed among members of the cast away from the camera as well.
Long Association With Akshay Kumar
Raveena Tandon has worked with Akshay Kumar in several films over the years. The two appeared together in popular titles from the 1990s, including Mohra, Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi, Barood and Police Force: An Inside Story.
Their return in Welcome to the Jungle has drawn attention from viewers familiar with their earlier collaborations. The pairing remains associated with several commercially successful films from that period.
Screen Partnership With Suniel Shetty
The actor has also shared a long working relationship with Suniel Shetty. Their previous films together include Dilwale, Vinashak, Rakshak and Aakrosh.
