Doctors Monitor Shinde’s Condition

Reports said Shinde began feeling unwell on July 3 and later complained of weakness along with fever. He was taken to the hospital for medical care and remains under the observation of a team of doctors.

According to party sources quoted in media reports, the Deputy Chief Minister’s health may have been affected by an intense work routine and continued political engagements over recent days. Leaders from the Shinde-led Shiv Sena said there was no immediate reason for concern and that he was responding to treatment.

Thane Induction Event Rescheduled

Shinde had been expected to attend an induction programme for Shubhangi Patil at Gangubai Shinde Hall in Thane on Thursday. The event was postponed after he fell ill.

The programme was later organised late on Friday in the presence of Member of Parliament Dr Shrikant Shinde. During the gathering, Shubhangi Patil formally joined the Shinde-led Shiv Sena.

Patil had earlier contested the Nashik Graduate Constituency election as a Maha Vikas Aghadi candidate. She received close to 50,000 votes in that contest, making her entry into the Shiv Sena a notable development in the region’s political landscape.

Recent Political Engagements Cited

In recent days, Shinde has been involved in several political and organisational activities. He has also travelled to New Delhi multiple times while taking part in meetings related to party matters and state politics.

Party leaders indicated that his packed schedule and sustained workload may have contributed to the health concerns that led to his hospital admission. However, they maintained that his medical condition remains stable.

The Shiv Sena has not announced when Shinde may be discharged or when he is expected to resume official engagements. Further information is likely to be shared after doctors review his condition.
