Cybersecurity – Tech Mahindra and Cisco have unveiled a new joint cybersecurity platform aimed at helping large organisations strengthen protection against increasingly complex digital threats. The collaboration focuses on improving how enterprises identify, manage and respond to cyber risks while ensuring smoother business continuity during security incidents.

Partnership Focuses on Real-Time Threat Management
The newly launched platform, called Cyber Resilience Fabric, combines technology from both companies to provide businesses with a unified security framework. Tech Mahindra said the system integrates Cisco’s Splunk Enterprise Security capabilities with its own Risk Scoring Platform to deliver real-time monitoring, AI-supported analytics and deeper risk assessment tools.
The platform has been developed for senior enterprise technology leaders such as Chief Information Security Officers, Chief Information Officers and Chief Technology Officers. It aims to provide organisations with improved visibility into their cybersecurity posture while also supporting compliance requirements and governance standards.
Growing Cyber Risks Driving Enterprise Demand
Tech Mahindra noted that modern businesses are dealing with increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks across connected digital environments. According to the company, traditional security systems often struggle to manage the growing volume of alerts, which can delay threat detection and weaken response times.
Saket Singh, Senior Vice President and Business Head of Digital Core Services at Tech Mahindra, said enterprises now require more proactive methods to handle cyber threats. The companies said the Cyber Resilience Fabric platform is designed to prioritise security events based on contextual risk evaluation. This approach is expected to improve the accuracy of threat analysis while reducing unnecessary operational alerts that often overwhelm security teams.
By consolidating information from security, operational and risk-related systems into a single framework, the platform seeks to offer enterprises a clearer understanding of potential vulnerabilities and ongoing cyber incidents.
Tech Mahindra added that the system can support faster identification of threats and quicker restoration of critical services during disruptions. The focus is on enabling businesses to respond more efficiently to cyber incidents while minimising operational impact.

Shannon Leininger, Senior Vice President of Global Partner Sales and Splunk Channel Chief at Cisco, said enterprises can no longer treat AI, data management and cybersecurity as separate functions.
Leininger stated that the collaboration between Cisco and Tech Mahindra aims to help customers automate security operations more effectively and prioritise threats with greater precision. According to her, the joint solution is expected to improve digital resilience by accelerating security response and enabling more efficient defence mechanisms.
