Organisation – BJP Announces New District Leadership Team Across Himachal Pradesh

Organisation –The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced a fresh set of district-level organisational appointments in Himachal Pradesh, aiming to strengthen coordination across the state and improve the execution of party programmes at every organisational level.

State Leadership Unveils District-Wise Appointments

Himachal Pradesh BJP President Rajeev Bindal released the list of District In-Charges and Co-In-Charges for all 17 organisational districts. The appointments are intended to reinforce the party’s internal structure while ensuring that organisational activities are carried out efficiently across the state.

According to the official announcement, State Vice President and MLA Vipin Parmar has been assigned responsibility for Chamba as District In-Charge, with former District President Ramesh Rana serving as Co-In-Charge. Former Member of Parliament Suresh Chandel will oversee Nurpur, assisted by State Spokesperson Vinay Sharma. MLA Bikram Thakur has been entrusted with Kangra, while State Co-Media Convenor Sanjeev Sharma has been named Co-In-Charge.

Senior Leaders Given Key Organisational Responsibilities

Former MLA and State Vice President Rajesh Thakur has been appointed District In-Charge for Dehra, with State Secretary Vandana Yogi as Co-In-Charge. Vinod Thakur, who heads the party’s Panchayati Raj Cell at the state level, will supervise Palampur, supported by State Spokesperson Pankaj Jamwal.

Former SC Morcha State President Nitin Kumar has been assigned responsibility for Lahaul-Spiti, alongside Kisan Morcha State General Secretary Jyoti Kapoor as Co-In-Charge. State Vice President Bihari Lal Sharma will lead organisational work in Kullu, with State Secretary Priyanta Sharma assisting him.

Organisational Changes Across Remaining Districts

Former Minister Suresh Bhardwaj has been appointed District In-Charge for Mandi, while State Co-Media Convenor Bhim Sen will serve as Co-In-Charge. Sundernagar will be overseen by State Secretary Tilak Raj Sharma, with State Secretary Kusum Sadret supporting organisational activities.

State Secretary Amit Thakur has been given charge of Hamirpur, accompanied by Co-operative Cell In-Charge Priyavrat Sharma. Una has been assigned to State Secretary Shishu Bhai Dharmi, with former State Secretary and current State Executive Member Vishal Chauhan taking up the role of Co-In-Charge.

For Bilaspur, State Vice President Rashmidhar Sood has been appointed District In-Charge, while former District President Desh Raj Sharma will work as Co-In-Charge.

Leadership Assignments for Solan, Shimla and Other Districts

Rajpal Singh, State Co-Convenor of Cells, will head organisational responsibilities in Solan, assisted by State Spokesperson Sandeepani Bhardwaj. State Secretary Sanjay Thakur has been appointed District In-Charge for Sirmaur, with State Spokesperson Rakesh Dogra serving as Co-In-Charge.

Rajya Sabha MP and State General Secretary Sikander Kumar has been entrusted with Mahasu, supported by State Executive Member Ashutosh Vaidya. State Secretary Sumeet Sharma will oversee Shimla, with State Spokesperson Ajay Thakur assisting him. In Kinnaur, State Spokesperson Ajay Rana has been named District In-Charge, while State Executive Member Vijay Parmar has been appointed Co-In-Charge.

Social Media and IT Wing Also Receives New Leadership

Alongside the district appointments, the BJP has named former State Spokesperson Chetan Bragta as the State In-Charge of the party’s Social Media and IT Department. The move is expected to strengthen communication and digital outreach efforts across Himachal Pradesh.

Rajeev Bindal Expresses Confidence in New Team

Congratulating the newly appointed office-bearers, Rajeev Bindal said he is confident that they will carry out their responsibilities with sincerity, discipline and commitment to the party’s organisational principles. He stated that the District In-Charges and Co-In-Charges will play an important role in improving coordination, implementing party programmes effectively and strengthening the organisation down to the booth level throughout Himachal Pradesh.
