CJP Protest – Authorities Approve Demonstration at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar
CJP Protest – Supporters of the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) gathered momentum on Saturday after authorities cleared the party’s proposed protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi. The development was announced by party representatives, who urged participants to head directly to the designated venue rather than assembling at Parliament Street Police Station as previously planned.

Permission Confirmed for Demonstration
The announcement was made by CJP spokesperson Saurav Das, who informed supporters that official approval for the protest had been secured. Following the clearance, party workers and supporters were advised to proceed directly to Jantar Mantar, one of the capital’s most prominent locations for public demonstrations.
The revised plan removed the need for participants to first gather near Parliament Street Police Station, where party leaders had earlier expected to complete formal procedures related to the protest.
Founder Arrives in Delhi From the United States
Meanwhile, CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke arrived in Delhi on Saturday morning after traveling from the United States. He landed at Delhi International Airport at approximately 8 a.m. and spent more than an hour completing immigration and related airport formalities before leaving for the protest venue.
According to party sources, Dipke had initially intended to visit Parliament Street Police Station upon arrival in the national capital. However, once confirmation of the protest permission was received, the schedule was altered and he proceeded directly toward Jantar Mantar.
Social Media Update Draws Attention
Shortly after the announcement, videos and updates related to the event began circulating on social media platforms. In one widely shared video, Dipke was seen exiting the airport while carrying a book featuring an image of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on its cover.
The visual attracted attention among supporters and followers monitoring developments related to the protest. Party members continued sharing updates regarding arrangements and participation throughout the morning.
Party Calls on Supporters to Reach Venue Directly
In his public message, Saurav Das emphasized that supporters should avoid gathering at Parliament Street and instead make their way straight to Jantar Mantar. The spokesperson stated that the required permission had already been granted by authorities, eliminating the need for any additional stop before reaching the demonstration site.
The protest has been organized under the banner of the Cockroach Janata Party, with party leaders using social media to coordinate attendance and communicate logistical updates. Organizers expect supporters to assemble at Jantar Mantar as scheduled following the official clearance for the event.
The approval marks a key development for the party’s planned demonstration in Delhi, allowing organizers to proceed with the gathering at the designated location while maintaining the revised arrangements announced on Saturday morning.
