Cybercrime – Delhi Police Arrest Four Accused in Security Guard Murder Case

Cybercrime –  A 60-year-old security guard was allegedly killed in a shocking act of violence in Delhi’s Peeragarhi area, leading to the arrest of two men and the detention of two juveniles, police officials confirmed on Tuesday. Investigators said the incident stemmed from a personal dispute that had taken place several weeks earlier and eventually turned fatal.

Delhi security guard murder arrests

According to police, the victim, identified as Bijender, had reportedly been involved in a heated argument with one of the juveniles around a month before the incident. During the confrontation, abusive remarks were allegedly exchanged, which investigators believe triggered resentment among the accused.

Dispute Allegedly Escalated Over Time

Officials said the juvenile allegedly continued to hold a grudge against the security guard after the altercation. Police claimed that the accused later discussed plans with associates and allegedly decided to target Bijender in retaliation for the earlier confrontation.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Vikram Singh stated that investigators found evidence suggesting the crime was not spontaneous but allegedly carried out after planning. Authorities are currently examining the sequence of events and the role played by each accused individual.

CCTV Footage Captured Entire Incident

Police said the attack occurred during the early hours of Sunday. According to the investigation, the accused first approached Bijender and allegedly threatened him before assaulting him with a stick. Moments later, they reportedly used a car to run him over twice.

The entire incident was reportedly recorded on nearby CCTV cameras, which became a crucial piece of evidence for investigators. Officials said the footage helped police identify the suspects and trace the vehicle allegedly used during the crime.

Local residents were reportedly shocked by the brutality of the incident. The victim suffered severe injuries and died at the scene before medical help could arrive, police sources said.

Police Tracked Vehicle After Receiving Information

Following the incident, police teams launched a search operation to trace the accused. Investigators gathered technical evidence and reviewed surveillance footage from surrounding areas to track their movements.

Authorities later received a tip-off indicating that the suspects were attempting to leave Delhi. Acting on the information, police intercepted the group near the Mundka Industrial Area on Monday.

According to officials, the accused were allegedly travelling in the same vehicle believed to have been used in the murder and were reportedly heading towards Haridwar in an attempt to evade arrest.

Investigation Continues Into Motive and Planning

Police confirmed that two adult suspects were arrested, while two juveniles were apprehended in connection with the case. The vehicle involved in the incident has also been seized for forensic examination.

Investigators are now focusing on gathering additional evidence, including digital records and witness statements, to establish the exact timeline of events. Authorities are also examining whether the attack was fully premeditated or escalated during the confrontation.

Senior police officers said legal proceedings have been initiated against the accused under relevant sections of law. The juveniles involved in the case will be dealt with according to provisions under the Juvenile Justice Act.

The incident has once again raised concerns about violent retaliation linked to personal disputes in urban areas. Police officials have urged residents to report threats or escalating conflicts to authorities before they turn into serious crimes.
