Karnataka: a bus and an automobile crash, killing three people

Karnataka: A traffic accident at Bharatipura Cross near Thirthahalli in Karnataka’s Shivamogga district on Wednesday claimed the lives of three persons, including two children.

The three dead were identified as citizens of Shringeri in the Chikkamagaluru district: 15-year-old Rihaan, 9-year-old Rahil, and 76-year-old Fathima.

Police said the accident happened when a vehicle and a Road Transport Corporation (RTC) bus collided head-on. Every victim was a passenger in a vehicle.

Three further automobile passengers were sent to a local hospital after suffering severe injuries.

According to preliminary findings, the automobile was carrying six passengers in all. The drivers were on their way home after attending a marriage ceremony in Channagiri, Davanagere district.

The RTC bus was on its way to Raichur from Mangaluru. The automobile was wrecked from the force of the crash, and traffic was halted for a while. According to the authorities, the event also caused damage to the bus’s front section.

The event is being looked into by the Thirthahalli Police, who have filed a complaint.

More information about the case has not yet surfaced.

Two different traffic incidents in the Chitradurga area last week claimed the lives of six persons.

According to police, four young males, ages 21 to 23, were murdered in the first incident when a vehicle and truck crashed head-on close to Hindasakatte hamlet in Hiriyur taluk.

In the second incident, a vehicle heading from Maharashtra to Bengaluru struck a truck close to the bridge in the Chitradurga district’s Tamatakallu hamlet. Three passengers were hurt, and two passengers in the automobile died instantly.

A traffic accident at Devinagar Camp in Karnataka’s Ballari district last week resulted in the immediate deaths of three family members and the injuries of two more.

According to reports, the vehicle lost control, struck a roadside barrier, and then overturned.
