MP Govt: Since working with NDDB, demand for Sanchi Milk has grown
MP Govt: A State-level Steering Committee established by the Madhya Pradesh State Cooperative Dairy Federation and the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) in Bhopal was presided over by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Tuesday.

Chief Minister Yadav told the gathering that the state’s Sanchi brand should be promoted in every manner feasible by means of a concerted effort across the whole state.
According to Yadav, as milk production plays a significant part in raising farmers’ incomes, initiatives should be implemented at the village level with the aim of improving farmers’ abilities and skills to support milk production.Strong oversight of the milk collecting system is also required. The CM said in a statement that dairy farmers should get their payments on a regular basis within the allotted time period, milk procurement pricing should be lucrative for producers, and the procurement system should be transparent.
The state government said in a statement that since the NDDB took control, there has been a surge in demand for Sanchi milk and for the establishment of Sanchi dairies in various locations.
The Bhopal, Gwalior, Ujjain, Bundelkhand, and Jabalpur milk unions have adopted software to digitize the whole dairy value chain in the state. The Indore Milk Union has also put in place a mobile app system for milk collecting that allows for quick access to information on milk amount, quality, and cost.To guarantee that milk farmers get their milk prices on a regular and timely basis, a 10-day roster has been established. Milk unions have raised the price each liter of milk they purchase by Rs 2.5 to Rs 8.50. According to the report, 635 dormant milk cooperative societies have been resurrected and 1,241 new ones have been established so far.
Additionally, it was reported that efforts are being made to increase the coverage of dairy cooperatives to 26,000 settlements. “The Shivpuri dairy facility has been shuttered for the last two years, but the process to reopen it has begun,” the administration said.
