Madhuri Dixit: discusses whether or not she intends to shift to direction in the near future
Madhuri Dixit: who is well-known for her outstanding performances throughout the course of her roughly 40-year career, said that she intends to attempt directing in the future.

Madhuri said in an exclusive interview with IANS that despite her extensive expertise, she does not now feel prepared for guidance.
“As an actor, you have worked on numerous projects; today, female directors are also doing really well,” the question posed to her. Are there any intentions for you to seek guidance?
In response, Madhuri told IANS, “Well, a lot of people ask me that because I have been working for 40 years, so that brings with it the kind of experience because you have seen so many directors, worked with them, learned from them, but I think I have to be ready for it, and right now I am not, but at some point maybe.”
Madhuri also discussed the development of filmmaking from her first feature, “Abodh,” to “Mrs. Deshpande” throughout the discussion.
According to the ‘Dhak Dhak’ girl, things are lot more structured now than they were in the past.
Yash Chopra, B R Chopra, Subhash Ghai, Rajshri Productions, and a few more were among the five or six highly organized producers at the time, she said, while the remainder was mostly disorganized. It’s very well-organized now. We used to rely more on improvisation, but now we can prepare for a part. Along with facilities like the RVs, where you may relax after each shoot or prepare, you also receive a script. We used to sit in the sun with an umbrella over our heads since we didn’t have all of this back then.
“So, there are a lot of things where the comfort of the actor is taken care of, and also because the character is so prepared that you know what you are going to wear, you know what your look is going to be, we do a lot of prep for the roles, we have readings, which never used to happen then,” Madhuri continued.
