Bengaluru: The first seed fundraising round from angel investors in Norway and India has closed, according to Elmentoz Research Pvt. Ltd., a deep-tech biotechnology business that is leading the way in precision animal health nutrition and smart feed solutions for poultry, aquaculture, and pet food. With this investment, Elmentoz is building the biggest BSF-based smart protein factory in India, which will use its in-house, cutting-edge automation technology to process 2,000 MT of industrial wastes each month.
A significant turning point for India’s sustainable feed and next-generation smart protein industries will be reached when the plant opens to the market in January 2026.
Elmentoz’s goal of developing sustainable, next-generation biofeed solutions that alleviate India’s significant reliance on imported functional feed additives, lower biosecurity risks, such as the growing problem of antibiotic resistance, and increase farmer profitability will be accelerated by this capital infusion.
It provides quantifiable savings in land usage, water consumption, and carbon footprints while bolstering our research-driven, India-first insect protein platform.
In order to provide AMP-fortified immune-smart premixes, intelligent protein formulations, and functional oil ingredients under its flagship product lines—ELGROW and ELTIDE—Elmentoz’s IP-led innovation platform combines genomics, proteomics, sophisticated automation, and cGMP production. By using functional immuno-nutrition solutions in place of antibiotic growth promoters (AGPs), the company’s precision-nutrition method increases feed conversion, boosts disease resistance, and improves gut health.
