Fraud, Fake Documents And Anti-Brahmin Remark: The MP Government Takes Action Against IAS Officer Santosh Verma
Fraud, Fake Documents And Anti-Brahmin Remark: Officials claim that Santosh Verma, a former MP cadre IAS officer, was fired by the Madhya Pradesh government because he joined the force fraudulently.

“The MP government has removed MP cadre IAS officer Santosh Verma from the post of Deputy Secretary, Agriculture Department, after it was found that he became an IAS officer through fraudulent means,” said authorities.
According to authorities, a departmental investigation into the suspected fraudster’s use of fake papers to get an integrity certificate is nearing its conclusion.
They said that Mohan Yadav, the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, had ordered the General Administration Department (GAD) to take strong action against him after noticing a contentious remark he made against the girls of the Verma Brahmin group.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav also acknowledged the contentious remarks made by Madhya Pradesh IAS official Santosh Verma on the girls of the Brahmin community. According to the authorities, he gave the GAD explicit instructions.
Due to his offensive remarks on the Brahmin community, Verma recently made news. As a result, he was given a show-cause notice for breaking the All India Services (Conduct and Discipline) Rules.
During the Madhya Pradesh AJJAKS (Anusuchit Jati-Janjati Adhikari Evam Karmchari Sangh) provincial convention in Bhopal on November 23, Verma made a statement that damaged social peace and amounted to indiscipline.
You seem to be trying to undermine societal peace and foster hostility amongst people by saying, “Prima facie, one person in a family should get reservation, until a Brahmin donates his daughter to my son or makes a relationship with him.” The warning said, “This falls under the category of indiscipline, arbitrariness, and serious misconduct and does not conform to the conduct expected of an Indian Administrative Service officer.”
Janardan Mishra, a member of parliament from Rewa, questioned Verma’s elevation and denounced his comment, calling for an inquiry.
Mishra has sent a letter in this respect to Jitendra Singh, the Union Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions.
“IAS Verma’s remarks are against the Indian Administrative Service’s code of conduct. Second, he joined the Indian Administrative Service fraudulently by using a certificate from the ST category while working in the Madhya Pradesh Administrative Service under the SC category. Thirdly, there must to be an inquiry into how he was given the IAS job because he had a criminal case against him and was still detained. In this context, I have asked the Union Minister to look into it,” Mishra told ANI.
The Member of Parliament went on to say that Verma’s IAS promotion should be removed if he is proven guilty.
