UGC NET CSIR December 2025 The deadline for registration has been extended to October 27.
The CSIR UGC NET December 2025 application date has been extended by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to October 27. Previously, October 24 was the deadline for registration. Applicants who have not yet applied may see the notification and complete the registration form at csirnet.nta.nic.in, the official website.
The official notification states that the deadline for paying the fee is October 28. The time for applying corrections will be available from October 30 to November 1.
On December 18, 2025, the Computer-Based Test (CBT) version of the CSIR UGC NET December 2025 test will be administered in two shifts: from 9 AM to noon and from 3 PM to 6 PM. Both Hindi and English versions of the document will be provided, and in the event of a discrepancy, the English version will be deemed definitive.
December 2025: Application Fees for CSIR UGC NET
The application cost is Rs 1,150 for Candidates in the General category, Rs 600 for Candidates in the EWS/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) category, and Rs 300 for Candidates in the SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender categories. Net banking, credit cards, debit cards, or UPI may all be used to pay the cost. The cost may still be paid until October 25, 2025, at 11:50 PM, if it is not paid before the registration deadline.
