While passing along the MIDC-Gopal Nagar road near the gate of a spinning mill, he noticed the body of an elderly man lying on the footpath. As he moved closer, he realized that the deceased was his father, Manikrao Borkar. The discovery prompted an immediate alert to the local police authorities.
