SearchCampaign – Uttar Pradesh Launches Second Phase of School Enrollment Drive From July 1
SearchCampaign – The Uttar Pradesh government is preparing to roll out the second phase of its Chalo School Campaign from July 1, with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath urging teachers, parents, and citizens to work together to ensure that every child attends school regularly. The initiative is aimed at increasing school enrolment while encouraging consistent classroom attendance across the state. The Chief Minister described the campaign as an important step toward strengthening the future of children through education.

Chief Minister Calls for Collective Responsibility
In a message shared on Monday, Yogi Adityanath said the beginning of July represents more than the start of a new month. According to him, it is also an opportunity to renew the state’s commitment to providing education to every child. He appealed to people from all sections of society to actively support the upcoming phase of the Chalo School Campaign and help expand its reach to every community.
The Chief Minister stressed that quality education can become a reality only when children are regularly present in classrooms and families remain committed to their learning journey.
Teachers Asked to Make Schools More Engaging
Addressing teachers, Adityanath encouraged them to create an environment where children look forward to attending school instead of viewing it as a daily obligation. He suggested that learning should be made more enjoyable by including activities beyond textbooks.
He noted that sports, games, and other interactive classroom experiences can help increase student participation and make schools more welcoming. According to the Chief Minister, an engaging learning atmosphere can motivate children to attend classes consistently and remain interested in their studies.
Parents Encouraged to Look Beyond Examination Scores
The Chief Minister also appealed to parents to play a more active role in their children’s education. He advised families not to measure a child’s abilities solely through examination marks but to appreciate qualities such as determination, discipline, and commitment toward learning.
He reminded parents that ensuring regular school attendance begins at home and that their continued involvement is essential for helping children build a strong educational foundation. He said consistent support from families can significantly improve students’ academic journey and overall development.
Campaign Aims to Strengthen Educational Participation
The second phase of the Chalo School Campaign has been designed to improve enrolment and reduce absenteeism among school-going children throughout Uttar Pradesh. Officials expect the initiative to encourage greater participation from local communities, educational institutions, and families.
The state government believes that increasing access to education and maintaining regular attendance will contribute to better learning outcomes for children across urban and rural areas alike.
Education Described as the Foundation of the State’s Future
Reiterating the broader objective of the campaign, Yogi Adityanath urged citizens to transform the Chalo School Campaign into a public movement. He said the long-term progress of Uttar Pradesh depends on ensuring that every child receives the opportunity to learn and grow through education.
With the second phase scheduled to begin on July 1, the government hopes the campaign will inspire greater awareness about the importance of schooling and encourage collective participation in building a stronger educational future for the state’s children.
