Technology – TATA Consultancy Services (TCS) has stated that an initial review of its Nashik facility has found no formal complaints related to the allegations currently being discussed.

Tata Consultancy Services on Friday addressed recent allegations concerning its Nashik operations, stating that a preliminary internal assessment has not uncovered any complaints tied to claims of sexual harassment or religious conversion. The company clarified that its established reporting channels, including ethics and workplace safety mechanisms, have not recorded any such grievances so far.
Internal Review and Independent Oversight
The company noted that while an initial review has been completed, a more detailed investigation is still ongoing. To ensure impartiality, TCS has brought in external experts to support the process. Professional services firm Deloitte and legal advisory firm Trilegal have been appointed to provide independent counsel alongside the company’s internal inquiry.
The internal review is being led by Aarthi Subramanian, who serves as the president and chief operating officer of the company. In addition, TCS has set up a separate oversight panel to monitor the investigation. The findings will be submitted to this committee, which will evaluate the results and determine if any corrective measures or policy updates are required.
Clarification on Employee Role
Responding to specific media reports, TCS also clarified details about a female employee whose name has been mentioned in connection with the matter. According to the company’s leadership, the individual worked as a process associate and did not hold any managerial or decision-making position.
The company emphasized that she was not part of the human resources department and had no involvement in hiring or recruitment activities. This clarification was issued to address what TCS described as inaccuracies in certain reports circulating in the media.

Amid speculation about the situation affecting its Nashik facility, TCS firmly stated that its operations remain fully functional. The company denied any reports suggesting that the unit had been shut down or that services had been impacted.
According to the statement, all client engagements and project deliveries are continuing as scheduled, with no disruption to business continuity. The company reiterated its commitment to maintaining service quality and operational stability while the review process is underway.
