RoadSafety –  A fatal road accident in Telangana’s Medchal-Malkajgiri district claimed one life and left two others seriously injured after a speeding car collided with two motorcycles. Police said the crash occurred on Sunday in the Medipalli area, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Uppal police station. Authorities have launched an investigation and are currently searching for the driver involved in the incident.

Accident Reported in Medipalli Area

According to police officials, the collision took place when a car moving at high speed rammed into two motorcycles traveling along the same stretch of road in Medipalli. The impact of the crash was severe, leaving one rider dead at the scene while two other individuals sustained critical injuries.

Emergency services were alerted immediately after the accident. The injured victims were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Officials have not yet disclosed their identities or provided an update on their medical condition.

Police officers from the Uppal police station arrived at the spot soon after receiving information about the crash. A case has been registered, and investigators are examining the circumstances that led to the collision.

Search Underway for Car Driver

Authorities confirmed that the driver responsible for the accident fled the location after the crash. Police teams have begun efforts to identify and locate the individual. Investigators are reviewing available evidence and speaking with witnesses who may have seen the incident unfold.

A police official said the case has been formally recorded and further details will be released once the investigation progresses. Officers are also examining whether overspeeding or reckless driving played a role in the fatal crash.

Separate Incident Leads to Arrest in District

In a separate and disturbing case reported from the same district, police arrested a 25-year-old man accused of forcibly injecting his HIV-positive blood into a woman after she allegedly rejected his marriage proposal.

The accused, identified as Kolipaka Manohar, was taken into custody by Pocharam police following a complaint filed by the victim’s father, Chiranjeevi. Police said the arrest was made on March 14 near NTPC X Road in Annojiguda, within the Ghatkesar area.

According to officials, Manohar works as a private employee. After receiving the complaint, investigators quickly traced and detained him for questioning before placing him under arrest.

Details of the Alleged Attack

Police stated that the incident occurred on Friday at the woman’s residence. Investigators allege that the accused extracted his own HIV-infected blood and forcibly injected it into the victim’s body with the intention of causing harm.

Authorities described the act as a deliberate attempt to endanger the victim’s life. Following the complaint, a case was registered, and police initiated a search operation that eventually led to Manohar’s arrest.

A police officer from the Pocharam IT Corridor Police Station confirmed that the accused was apprehended in the afternoon and later produced before a court. He has been booked under Section 109 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, which relates to attempt to murder.

Legal Proceedings and Investigation

After his arrest, Manohar was remanded to judicial custody. Investigators are continuing to gather evidence and examine the sequence of events leading up to the alleged attack.

Officials said further inquiries are underway to determine additional details about the incident and the relationship between the accused and the victim. Police are also coordinating with medical authorities to ensure the victim receives proper medical evaluation and care.
