NEETAnswerKey – Final NEET UG 2026 Answer Key Released Ahead of Result Declaration
NEETAnswerKey –The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially published the final answer key for the NEET UG 2026 re-examination that was conducted on June 21. The updated document was released on Thursday night, bringing clarity to students who had been waiting for the final evaluation before the declaration of results. The answer key confirms the decisions taken after reviewing objections submitted by candidates and retains the same changes that appeared in the provisional version.

Final Answer Key Confirms Earlier Decisions
According to the final answer key, no additional revisions have been introduced after the provisional answer key was released. One question has been removed from the evaluation process, while another has been accepted with two correct responses. These decisions remain unchanged in the final document issued by the examination authority.
The provisional answer key had been made available on June 25, allowing candidates to examine their responses and raise objections if they found any discrepancies. Students were given time until June 28 to submit their challenges along with supporting evidence. After reviewing the objections received, the NTA finalized the answer key without making further modifications.
Physics Questions Drew Significant Attention
Among all the subjects, two questions from the Physics section attracted considerable attention during the objection process. One of the disputed questions was related to Vernier Callipers. Reports indicated that all four answer choices provided for this question were incorrect, making it impossible for candidates to select a valid option.
As a result, the NTA decided to remove the question from the evaluation. Since the question was dropped, every candidate who appeared for the examination will receive four bonus marks. More than 20 lakh students are expected to benefit from this decision, ensuring that no candidate is placed at a disadvantage because of the error in the question paper.
Electromagnetic Waves Question Receives Dual Answer Benefit
Another disputed question belonged to the topic of electromagnetic waves. During the review process, it was found that two answer options could be considered correct instead of only one.
To ensure fairness in the evaluation process, the NTA has decided that candidates who selected either of the two accepted responses will receive the full four marks for that question. This approach is intended to maintain equal treatment for students whose answers matched either of the valid options.
Result Expected Soon After Answer Key Release
With the publication of the final answer key, attention has now shifted to the announcement of the NEET UG 2026 results. It is widely understood that the examination results are likely to be declared shortly after the release of the final answer key. Candidates across the country are closely monitoring official updates as they await their scorecards.
The release of the final answer key is an important step because it determines the basis on which the final scores will be calculated. Students are advised to rely only on official announcements from the NTA for result-related information and future admission procedures.
Transparent Review Process Completed
The sequence followed by the NTA, beginning with the publication of the provisional answer key, the invitation for objections, and the release of the final version, reflects the standard review process followed for major national-level entrance examinations. The confirmation of the dropped question and the acceptance of two correct answers in another question concludes the evaluation stage, paving the way for the declaration of NEET UG 2026 results.
