Support for Students and Academic Achievement

As part of his visit, the minister distributed free bicycles to 55 students at government schools in Uppalapadu and Vemparala. The initiative aims to make commuting easier for students, particularly those traveling from distant areas. During the event, he also honoured Jasti Naga Venkata Sai Sri, who emerged as the top scorer in the SSC examinations at the constituency level.

Speaking at the অনুষ্ঠments, Ravi Kumar commended students of government schools for their strong performance in the recent SSC results. He noted that the achievements reflect a steady improvement in the public education system, which has been undergoing reforms in recent years.

Improvements in Government School Standards

Highlighting the changes in the education sector, the minister said that government schools are increasingly matching the standards of private institutions. He attributed this progress to policy reforms and investments in infrastructure, which have enhanced both teaching quality and learning environments.

He further explained that the state government has been prioritising upgrades such as better classrooms, digital learning tools, and improved facilities to ensure that students receive a competitive education without needing to rely on private schools.

Cultural Infrastructure Added to Schools

During his visit to Vemparala Government School, Ravi Kumar inaugurated a newly constructed memorial cultural stage. The facility, built with contributions from local donors, is expected to serve as a venue for school events and cultural activities, encouraging student participation beyond academics.

The minister appreciated community involvement in supporting educational institutions and stressed that such collaborations strengthen the overall development of schools.

Major Road Projects Across Villages

In addition to education-focused initiatives, several infrastructure projects were launched to improve road connectivity in the region. A blacktop road project valued at Rs 5.10 crore, connecting Shantinagar to Eleswaravaripalem, was formally opened.

Further, cement concrete roads worth Rs 1.15 crore were inaugurated in Uppalapadu, Mailavaram, and Vemparala villages. These developments are expected to enhance transportation, ease daily commuting, and support local economic activity.

Expansion of Power Infrastructure

The minister also highlighted ongoing efforts to strengthen power infrastructure under the RDSS scheme. New electric poles are being installed throughout the constituency to improve electricity distribution and ensure a more reliable power supply for residents.

He stated that these upgrades are part of a broader plan to modernise rural infrastructure and meet the growing energy demands of the region.

Commitment to Election Promises

Ravi Kumar reiterated that the government is working steadily to fulfil its commitments made during the elections. He pointed out that projects such as road construction, drainage systems, and electrification are being implemented across rural areas to improve living conditions.

According to the minister, the focus remains on balanced development, ensuring that both education and infrastructure receive equal attention to drive long-term progress in the constituency.
