GangsterNetwork – Delhi Police Arrest Two Suspects in Gym Firing Case

GangsterNetwork –  A major breakthrough has been made in the investigation into the firing incident outside a gym in Delhi’s Paschim Vihar, with police arresting two alleged associates of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The suspects are accused of participating in the attack on a fitness centre reportedly connected to Punjabi singer Guru Randhawa. Authorities said no injuries were reported in the incident, but the case has drawn significant attention because of its alleged links to organised crime.

Delhi police arrest gym firing suspects

Arrests Made After Multi-State Investigation

The arrested men have been identified as 19-year-old Arman and 21-year-old Tushar, also known by the aliases Tashu and Pinku. Both are residents of Sonipat in Haryana. According to investigators, they were allegedly working on behalf of gangster Anil Pandit, who is believed to be associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi network and is reportedly operating from the United States.

Police officials said the arrests were made in Bahadurgarh, Haryana, following an extensive investigation that involved analysing technical evidence, tracing communication records and reconstructing the movements of those involved. Investigators tracked the suspects across a route spanning nearly 100 kilometres before identifying their alleged roles in the attack.

Early Morning Shooting Outside Gym

The firing incident took place at around 4 a.m. on June 11 outside the 24HS Fitness gym in Paschim Vihar. Police said two individuals arrived on a motorcycle and allegedly opened fire before fleeing the scene.

A senior officer stated that seven empty cartridge cases were recovered from the location during the initial examination. Fortunately, no one was injured during the shooting, despite the gunfire occurring near the premises.

The gym has been described by investigators as being associated with Punjabi singer Guru Randhawa, a detail that later became central to claims made online regarding the motive behind the attack.

Social Media Claim Raises Security Concerns

Following the incident, a social media post surfaced in which Anil Pandit allegedly claimed responsibility for the shooting. According to police, the message suggested that the attack was carried out in the name of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Investigators said the post also referred to Guru Randhawa’s association with Bollywood actor Salman Khan. The message allegedly claimed that warnings had previously been issued to the singer over his proximity to the actor, whom members of the gang reportedly consider an adversary.

Police are examining all digital evidence connected to the case as part of the ongoing investigation.

Links Between the Accused and Other Suspects

Authorities revealed that Arman is related to two other suspects identified as Sahil and Sagar, who are currently wanted in connection with the case. Investigators believe the four men were involved in planning and executing the attack.

Police further disclosed that Tushar had travelled to Russia in 2023 on a student visa and had reportedly been employed there by a fast-food chain. He returned to Delhi on May 31 and allegedly came into contact with Sahil and Sagar shortly afterward.

Officials said both arrested men have admitted involvement during questioning. Efforts are now focused on locating and apprehending the remaining accused.

Canada Orders Deportation of Alleged Gang Associate

In a separate development linked to the broader investigation into the Lawrence Bishnoi network, Canadian authorities have ordered the deportation of Indian national Abhijeet Kingra.

The Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada reportedly concluded that Kingra was associated with the gang. The ruling referenced allegations linking him to activities connected with the attack on the residence of Punjabi singer AP Dhillon, which investigators believe was carried out at the direction of members of the criminal organisation.

The latest developments highlight ongoing efforts by law enforcement agencies in multiple countries to target individuals allegedly connected to organised crime networks operating across international borders.
