Flipkart – Delivery Executive Arrested After Alleged Misconduct at Bengaluru Home
Flipkart –A delivery executive associated with an online shopping platform has been arrested after a woman accused him of behaving in an obscene manner at her residence in Bengaluru. The incident has led to a police investigation, while the company has assured complete cooperation with authorities and reaffirmed its commitment to customer safety.

Police in Bengaluru confirmed that the accused has been identified as Vijay Mallikarjun Kamat, who was working as a delivery executive for Flipkart. Based on the complaint filed by the woman, Marathahalli Police registered a case under Crime No. 345/2026. The FIR includes charges under Sections 75, 79 and 329(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Officials said the accused has been taken into custody and legal proceedings have begun.
Complaint Prompted Immediate Police Action
The matter gained wider attention after details of the alleged incident were shared on the social media platform X. A user claimed that a Flipkart delivery executive had entered a woman’s washroom without permission and allegedly exposed himself to her. The post described the incident as deeply disturbing and raised concerns about women’s safety inside their own homes. The user also tagged the Bengaluru City Police while demanding strict action against the accused.
Following the social media post, Bengaluru City Police directed the complaint to the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) of the Whitefield Division for further action. Soon after, the police confirmed that a formal complaint had been registered and that an investigation had commenced.
Investigation Continues Under Marathahalli Police
Officials from the Whitefield Division stated that the FIR has been filed at Marathahalli Police Station and investigators are examining all available evidence related to the complaint. Police have not disclosed additional details about the investigation, stating that the inquiry remains in progress.
Authorities also reiterated that appropriate legal action has been initiated against the accused in accordance with the provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Further developments in the case will depend on the findings of the ongoing investigation.
Flipkart Terminates Delivery Partner’s Engagement

According to the company’s statement, the delivery partner’s engagement was terminated without delay. Flipkart also confirmed that it is fully cooperating with law enforcement agencies as the investigation moves forward. The company noted that an FIR has already been registered and pledged to assist authorities whenever required.
