Union Minister of State for Communications and Rural Development Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani on Tuesday carried out a comprehensive assessment of APT 2.0, the upgraded digital system designed for India Post. During the review, the minister underlined the platform’s growing importance in modernising postal operations and strengthening the organisation’s position as a nationwide logistics and service network.
According to an official statement issued by the Ministry of Communications, the digital infrastructure has significantly improved service speed while reducing dependence on manual processes. The system has also supported better administrative decisions, improved reliability in operations, and increased customer satisfaction across multiple regions.
Real-Time Monitoring Strengthens Branch Operations
Officials said APT 2.0 is helping branch offices function with greater efficiency by providing real-time operational insights. Local postal centres can now analyse customer demand patterns, evaluate performance levels, and make quicker decisions using data-driven systems.
