CrimeNews –  A man lost his life after a violent assault in Hyderabad’s Santosh Nagar area during the early hours of Monday, prompting a swift police response. Authorities confirmed that a suspect has been taken into custody, while investigators continue to examine the circumstances that led to the fatal attack.

Police Launch Investigation Into Fatal Assault

According to police officials, the incident occurred in Rajaiah Thota, where both the victim and the accused were reportedly residing. Preliminary findings suggest that the victim, identified as Raju, was struck with a stone during the confrontation. However, investigators have not yet established what triggered the attack.

Law enforcement teams reached the location soon after receiving information about the incident. Officers secured the area and began collecting evidence to determine the sequence of events leading to the man’s death.

Special Team Formed to Trace Suspect

Police stated that a dedicated team was assigned to track down the accused shortly after the crime was reported. The suspect, identified as Nagaraju, was subsequently apprehended and is currently in police custody.

Officials said both individuals were known to each other and lived in the same locality. The victim’s body has been sent for a post-mortem examination to help establish the exact cause of death and support the ongoing investigation.

Authorities emphasized that the motive remains unclear and that further questioning and forensic analysis are underway to uncover the facts surrounding the incident.

Separate Tragedy Reported in Nizamabad District

In another unfortunate incident in Telangana, a married couple died after suffering an electric shock at their residence in Ootpally village of Nizamabad district on the night of June 21.

Police officials reported that the accident took place at approximately 11 p.m. Initial findings indicate that the woman received an electric shock first. Her husband then attempted to rescue her but was also electrocuted during the effort.

Couple Dies While Children Remain Safe

The victims have been identified as Sanjeev, aged 45, and his wife Jyothi, aged 41. Both were declared dead at the scene.

Authorities noted that three children were present inside the house at the time of the incident. Fortunately, none of the children suffered injuries and all were reported safe.

Following the incident, police registered a case and began an inquiry to determine the exact circumstances that led to the electrocution. The bodies of the deceased have been transferred for post-mortem examinations as part of standard legal procedures.

Officials Await Detailed Findings

Investigators are continuing to gather evidence and statements related to both incidents. While police have already arrested a suspect in the Hyderabad murder case, inquiries remain ongoing to determine the motive behind the attack. Meanwhile, officials in Nizamabad are awaiting additional technical and forensic findings in the electrocution case.
