Rescue Teams Launch Immediate Search Operation

Following the collapse, officials from the local administration, police, and emergency services reached the site without delay. Rescue operations were initiated on a priority basis to locate workers believed to be buried under the fallen concrete. Teams from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) joined the mission with specialised equipment to speed up the search. Jaipur District Collector Sandesh Nayak confirmed that three workers had lost their lives. Officials said the operation would continue until every trapped individual was accounted for.

Collapse Reportedly Linked to Excavation Activity

According to eyewitnesses, drainage excavation work was in progress near Tala Mod when the accident occurred. Local residents claimed that deep digging close to the construction site may have weakened the surrounding ground, leading to the collapse of a wall belonging to the under-construction building. However, authorities have not yet officially confirmed the exact cause and said a detailed investigation will determine what triggered the incident.

Injured Workers Shifted for Medical Treatment

Rescue personnel managed to pull several injured workers from beneath the rubble and immediately transported them to nearby hospitals for treatment. Medical teams remain on alert as additional victims may be brought in while the rescue operation continues. Officials have not yet released complete details regarding the condition of all those injured.

Conflicting Claims Over Casualties

While district authorities have officially confirmed three deaths, some eyewitnesses claimed the number of fatalities could be higher. Residents present at the scene suggested that more than a dozen workers were at the construction site when the wall collapsed, raising concerns that additional labourers could still be trapped beneath the debris. Emergency teams are carefully removing the rubble to avoid further risk while continuing the search.

Investigation Underway

The collapse caused panic among workers and nearby residents, with authorities securing the area to facilitate rescue work. Officials said the priority remains saving anyone trapped under the debris before a comprehensive structural assessment is carried out. An inquiry is expected to examine whether construction safety standards and excavation practices were properly followed at the site. Further information will be released as rescue efforts progress and investigators establish the circumstances surrounding the accident.
