Artificial Intelligence – Nellore is taking a significant step toward becoming a modern technology destination with the launch of its first multi-company artificial intelligence innovation park, marking a new phase in the city’s economic development beyond its traditional strengths.
A New Chapter in Nellore’s Growth
For decades, Nellore has been widely recognized for its contributions to agriculture, aquaculture, and industrial activities. However, the city is now expanding its identity by embracing technology and innovation. The newly established Nexus Innovation Hub is expected to play a key role in this transformation by bringing together multiple technology companies focused on developing AI-based solutions for international markets.
The innovation campus is the first of its kind in the city and serves as a shared workspace for several businesses working across diverse sectors. These include enterprise software, cybersecurity, education technology, healthcare, digital design, and marketing services. By creating an environment where different technology firms operate under one roof, the hub aims to encourage collaboration and innovation.
Focus on Employment and Investment
The launch of the innovation park is seen as an important milestone in Nellore’s efforts to attract technology-driven businesses and global investments. Along with strengthening the city’s digital ecosystem, the project is expected to generate skilled employment opportunities for local professionals.
The initiative has been developed under the leadership of entrepreneur Renil Komitla, who hails from Nellore. According to the project team, the technology campus has already created around 150 high-skilled jobs. The long-term objective is to increase that number to nearly 1,000 technology positions over the next two years, providing career opportunities that previously required relocation to larger metropolitan cities.
Expansion Plans Continue
The journey toward building the innovation ecosystem began with the establishment of a Terralogic office in Nellore in 2022. Since then, the initiative has expanded steadily. During the launch of Blazeup.ai in November 2025, a commitment was made to create 100 technology jobs. That target has already been surpassed, with employment reaching approximately 150 professionals.
The expansion is expected to continue in the coming months. Organizers plan to increase the workforce to around 200 technology professionals within the next six months before scaling operations further to achieve the goal of 1,000 skilled jobs over the following two years.
Vision for Local Talent
Speaking about the initiative, Renil Komitla said his primary objective is to provide technology career opportunities within Nellore itself so that young professionals are not compelled to move to major cities in search of employment.
He emphasized that smaller cities have the potential to become centres of technological innovation rather than simply supporting existing industries elsewhere. According to him, the progress being made in Nellore demonstrates that Tier-2 cities can successfully build competitive technology ecosystems capable of serving global markets.
Companies Driving the Initiative
The Nexus Innovation Hub brings together a number of technology companies operating in different fields. These include Terralogic Solutions Inc., Blazeup.ai, FlyView.ai, Smartail.ai, DXP Technologies, Lollypop Design Studio, and Caramelo.Studio. Their combined presence is expected to strengthen collaboration while encouraging the development of advanced AI-powered products and digital services.
Beyond supporting established companies, the hub also intends to encourage entrepreneurship. Through partnerships with PointOne Capital, startups will receive mentorship and potential investment support across sectors such as manufacturing, AgriTech, EdTech, hospitality, and supply chain management.

With international technology companies, AI research, startup incubation, and investment support operating from a single campus, the Nexus Innovation Hub is expected to accelerate Nellore’s transition into a growing technology destination. The initiative reflects the increasing role of Tier-2 cities in India’s digital economy while creating opportunities for innovation, employment, and business expansion within the region.
