Admissions – Delhi University Opens CSAS-PG Correction and Mid-Entry Schedule

Admissions – Delhi University has released the detailed schedule for the correction window, mid-entry process and the third round of seat allocation under the Common Seat Allocation System for Postgraduate Admissions (CSAS-PG) for the 2026-27 academic session.

Delhi university csas pg admission schedule

The University of Delhi has issued important dates for postgraduate aspirants participating in the CSAS-PG admission process. Students who have already completed their registration will be able to make necessary corrections to their application forms during a dedicated edit window. The facility will remain available from 10:00 am on July 2 until 5:59 pm on July 4, allowing applicants to update eligible details before the next phase of admissions.

Correction Window for Registered Candidates

The university’s admission branch has advised registered candidates to carefully review their submitted forms before making any changes. The correction facility is intended to help applicants rectify errors or update permissible information within the specified timeline. No further opportunity to edit application details is expected after the correction window closes.

Mid-Entry Facility for New Applicants

In addition to the correction period, Delhi University will activate a mid-entry option for candidates who either did not register during the earlier phase or were unable to complete their application process. This provision offers another opportunity to participate in postgraduate admissions, although eligibility will depend on the availability of vacant seats in different programmes.

The university has clarified that applicants entering through the mid-entry route will only be considered for courses where seats remain unfilled after the previous rounds of allocation.

Third Allocation List to Be Released on July 6

The third round of CSAS-PG seat allocation is scheduled to begin with the publication of allocation results on July 6. Candidates who receive a seat in this round must confirm their acceptance within the prescribed period to continue with the admission process.

According to the official schedule, students allotted seats in the third round can accept their offered programme from July 6 to July 9. Following acceptance, the respective departments and affiliated colleges will examine the submitted documents and verify online applications before granting final approval.

Admission Fee Deadline Announced

Once verification is completed, eligible candidates will be required to pay the admission fee within the notified deadline. The university has fixed 4:59 pm on July 11 as the final time for payment of the admission fee for candidates admitted through the third allocation round.

Officials have advised applicants to complete all formalities well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues or delays in the online admission process.

Vacant Seats to Determine Mid-Entry Admissions

Delhi University has reiterated that the mid-entry process does not guarantee admission to every programme. Instead, admissions through this route will be limited to courses where seats remain vacant after earlier allocation rounds. Candidates planning to use the mid-entry facility are therefore encouraged to monitor the official admission portal regularly for programme-wise vacancy details and further announcements.

With the correction window, mid-entry option and third allocation schedule now announced, postgraduate applicants have a clear timeline to complete pending formalities and participate in the remaining stages of the CSAS-PG 2026-27 admission process
