Accident – A government primary school teacher was killed in a serious road accident on National Highway 144 near the APMC Bridge while travelling to an official training session. The victim, identified as 45-year-old Jyotsna Grish Naranje, was serving at Satephal Primary School. She had reportedly completed her school responsibilities before leaving on her two-wheeler to attend a compulsory SIR training programme in Chincholi.
Collision With Unidentified Vehicle Turns Fatal
According to preliminary information, the accident took place when an unidentified vehicle travelling from the opposite direction allegedly struck her two-wheeler on the highway. The impact of the collision was severe, leaving the teacher with fatal injuries. Local residents immediately alerted the emergency response team and police officials, who reached the location soon afterward. However, medical personnel confirmed that she had died at the scene before any treatment could be provided.
