Doha Talks Shift Focus
The negotiations were initially planned to take place in Switzerland and were expected to concentrate primarily on Iran’s nuclear programme. However, renewed tensions in the Strait of Hormuz prompted both sides to relocate the meeting to Doha, where shipping security has become the main priority.
