John F: Kennedy Center is renamed the Trump-Kennedy Center by the Trustees’ Board
John F: The Kennedy Center has been renamed the Trump-Kennedy Center, according to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt on Thursday.

According to Leavitt, the name was done in recognition of US President Donald Trump’s efforts to restore the company’s image and finances.
“I recently learned that the highly esteemed Board of the Kennedy Center, which consists of some of the most accomplished individuals from around the globe, unanimously decided to rename the Kennedy Center to the Trump-Kennedy Center due to the incredible work President Trump has done in the past year to save the building,” Leavitt wrote in a post on X. not only in terms of rebuilding, but also in terms of money and reputation.”
“This will be a very outstanding partnership for a very long time, so congratulations to President Kennedy and President Donald J. Trump! “There’s no doubt that the building will achieve unprecedented success and grandeur,” she remarked.
The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts’ board of trustees decided on Thursday to rename the establishment in honor of President Trump and the previous president.
In a statement, center spokesperson Roma Daravi stated, “The Kennedy Center Board of Trustees voted unanimously today to name the institution The Donald J. Trump and The John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts,” which CNN cited.
“The unanimous vote acknowledges that the present Chairman prevented the institution from being physically and financially destroyed. The unwavering bipartisan support for America’s cultural hub for future generations is reflected in the new Trump Kennedy Center,” she said.
According to a person familiar with the situation, Trump phoned in during a board meeting where the vote was held, CNN said.
The president has often joked about referring to the performing arts facility as the “Trump Kennedy Center,” and it seems his hand-picked board has granted his request. The president was voted chair by a newly formed board in February.
