Balochistan: Police said a deadly explosion in Sibi killed one person and injured five
Balochistan: According to local sources reported by Dawn, an explosion at Chenak Chowk in the Sibi area of Balochistan on Thursday resulted in one fatality and five injuries.

According to Ghulam Ali Abro, a Station House Officer (SHO) assigned to Sibi, the event was a grenade assault that happened at around 7:05 p.m.The SHO told Dawn that one person died and five people were injured, and that Edhi ambulances and security guards arrived at the location as soon as they heard about the explosion.
Six wounded people were transferred to a hospital, he said, but one of them passed away while receiving treatment.
The deceased’s corpse was given to his family, according to Dawn, while the wounded were sent to the Teaching Hospital, according to Sibi area Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Barkat Khosa.Additional investigation is being conducted, and police have increased security in the area,” DIG Khosa said.
A grenade exploded inside a home in the Wadh region of Balochistan’s Khuzdar district last month, killing an eight-year-old kid and injuring five other family members, including two women, according to Dawn.
According to Dawn, the youngster was instantaneously killed when unknown assailants hurled a hand grenade into the courtyard of the home, which was inhabited by two families from Sindh’s Kashmore area.
