Kumar Sanu Recalls a Memorable Recording Experience

Reflecting on the song’s journey, Kumar Sanu said he immediately felt there was something distinctive about the melody when it was first recorded. According to him, the emotional connection audiences have maintained with the track over the years has been deeply rewarding. He believes that its enduring popularity highlights the timeless quality of well-crafted music and meaningful lyrics.

The veteran singer also shared a video featuring the newly recreated version of the song, now titled “Aankhon Se Tune,” which has been produced for the upcoming film Bhai Tera Star Hai. He praised the creative team behind the remake for preserving the original spirit while presenting it with a fresh musical approach.

Singer Appreciates Respectful Recreation of the Classic

Kumar Sanu noted that it is always satisfying to witness classic songs being reimagined with care rather than simply recreated. He appreciated the effort made by the makers to retain the emotional essence of the original composition while giving it a contemporary sound that appeals to today’s listeners.

He added that seeing a song continue to resonate across generations is one of the most fulfilling experiences for any artist. For him, the renewed version represents not only a tribute to the original but also an opportunity for younger audiences to discover music that has remained popular for decades.

The Enduring Appeal of Ghulam

Released in 1998, Ghulam featured Aamir Khan and Rani Mukerji in lead roles and became one of the notable Hindi films of its time. The film followed the story of Siddharth, a young man inspired by the ideals of his freedom fighter father. As the narrative unfolds, Siddharth chooses to stand against a feared local gangster responsible for the killing of an innocent youth, despite facing opposition from his own brother, Jai.

The film earned recognition for its engaging storyline, memorable performances, and popular soundtrack. Among its many songs, “Aankhon Se Tune Yeh Kya Keh Diya” remains one of the most cherished romantic tracks from the late 1990s, continuing to enjoy popularity on music platforms even years after its original release.

Bhai Tera Star Hai Set for Release

The recreated version of the song has been included in Bhai Tera Star Hai, an upcoming film featuring Raghav Juyal in the lead role. The story revolves around an actor who becomes trapped in a dangerous situation after a cricket betting debt places him under intense pressure. A false statement involving his sister triggers a chain of misunderstandings, drawing criminals into a series of chaotic events unfolding across London.

The film also features an ensemble cast including Sanjay Kapoor, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Barkha Singh, Niharika NM, Vikalp Mehta, Vivan Bhatena, Niki Aneja Walia, Parvathy Omanakuttan, Tina Desai, Vineeth Beep Kumar, Naser Al Azzeh, and Dev B. Agrawal in significant roles.

Scheduled for theatrical release on July 30, Bhai Tera Star Hai combines comedy, crime, and suspense while also paying tribute to a memorable Bollywood melody through its modern musical adaptation.
