NDA Meeting – A meeting of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) parliamentary party took place at the Parliament House complex on Tuesday, bringing together Prime Minister Narendra Modi, senior Union ministers, and alliance Members of Parliament for discussions on key policy priorities and national issues.

According to NCPI Member of Parliament Sayoni Ghosh, the session offered lawmakers an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of issues shaping the country’s economic direction. Support Expressed for Anti-Paper Leak Legislation
During her interaction with the media after the meeting, Sayoni Ghosh also appealed for support for the proposed legislation aimed at preventing irregularities in public examinations. She referred to the Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026, which was scheduled to be discussed in Parliament later the same day.
The proposed measure is intended to strengthen safeguards against examination-related malpractice and improve the credibility of recruitment and competitive examination systems. Ghosh indicated that backing such reforms would contribute to maintaining fairness and transparency in the examination process.
Newly Inducted NCPI MPs Attend NDA Event
The meeting carried additional significance for the Nationalist Congress Party of India following the recent induction of former Trinamool Congress MPs. After joining the NCPI, the lawmakers reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the NDA and participating in its parliamentary activities.
Their presence at the Mangal Milan event highlighted their integration into the alliance’s parliamentary framework and their willingness to engage in discussions on government policies and legislative priorities.

Another NCPI MP, Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar, said the gathering was the first occasion on which 20 MPs from the party had been invited to attend the NDA parliamentary meeting. She described the session as an opportunity to receive detailed information on several important subjects affecting the country.
According to Dastidar, discussions extended beyond trade agreements to include issues concerning the agriculture sector and the country’s overall development.
