Mr Bhaarath – Samyuktha Viswanathan Revealed as Toy Designer in Rom-Com
Mr Bhaarath – The team behind the upcoming romantic comedy Mr Bhaarath has shared new information about Samyuktha Viswanathan’s role in the film. The actor will be seen as a toy designer in the project, which is presented by filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj’s production banner. Directed by newcomer Niranjan, the film features Bhaarath in the lead role and is being positioned as a character-led entertainer built around romance, humour and family emotions.

A Character Shaped by a Difficult Past
According to the makers, Samyuktha’s character carries the emotional weight of a troubled childhood and a complicated family background. These experiences influence the way she approaches people and relationships in her adult life.
Director Niranjan said the emotional journey of the film develops through her interaction with Bhaarath’s character. He explained that the contrast between her guarded personality and his uncomplicated nature forms an important part of the story. The director added that the relationship between the two characters is expected to drive the emotional narrative of the film.
Bhaarath Plays a Quality Check Officer
Bhaarath, who makes his debut as a lead actor with Mr Bhaarath, plays a Quality Check Officer at a toy manufacturing company. His character is described as sincere, innocent and unaware of the romantic signals around him.
Speaking about the role, Bhaarath said his character does not immediately understand when someone expresses affection for him. He also revealed that the character is an orphan who was raised by his grandfather, played by veteran actor R. Sundarrajan.
The actor said the bond between the grandfather and grandson will bring warmth and comedy to the story. He noted that audiences may also see elements of R. Sundarrajan’s familiar comic style through their scenes together. The relationship, he said, serves as one of the film’s emotional anchors.
Six New Talents Join the Project
Mr Bhaarath brings together six newcomers across key creative departments. Along with introducing Bhaarath as a lead actor, the film marks Niranjan’s first outing as a director. Samyuktha Viswanathan stars opposite Bhaarath in the central female role.
The project also introduces Pranav Muniraj as music director, Bhavna Govardan as art director and Dhivakar Dennis as editor. The makers have described the film as a platform for fresh talent both in front of and behind the camera.
The film is produced by Sudhan Sundaram, Lokesh Kanagaraj and Jagadish Palanisami. Lokesh Kanagaraj is also presenting the project through his production house.
Focus on Romance, Humour and Relationships
The makers say Mr Bhaarath will rely on relatable characters and everyday emotions rather than large-scale spectacle. The story is expected to combine romantic moments with situational humour and family-based sentiment.
People associated with the production have indicated that the film aims to offer a light-hearted viewing experience while retaining an emotional core. With its setting around a toy manufacturing company and two contrasting lead characters, Mr Bhaarath is expected to explore relationships through a simple and accessible narrative.
Further details about the film’s release schedule and promotional plans are expected to be announced by the makers in the coming months.
