Lock Upp – Harshad Chopda Reacts After Shivangi Joshi’s Heated Argument

Lock Upp – A tense exchange between contestants Shreya Kalra and Shivangi Joshi took centre stage in the latest episode of Netflix reality series Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa. The dispute escalated after Shreya asked for snacks, saying she was taking strong medication and needed food.

Questions Raised Over Medication Claim

The conversation began when other contestants questioned Shreya’s request, particularly because she had not previously informed the group about being on medication. With limited in-game funds available to participants, housemates appeared concerned about how the additional food request would affect the shared resources.

In the show, contestants receive a weekly digital balance known as “kharcha paani.” The amount can be used to purchase meals and other essentials inside the lock-up. Participants must earn the currency through tasks and nomination-related activities, making food and supplies a frequent point of discussion among inmates.

Shivangi Joshi’s Conversation Turns Into a Dispute

Shivangi later approached Shreya to ask whether she was genuinely unwell. What began as a direct question soon developed into a sharp argument between the two contestants. During the exchange, Shreya allegedly used insulting language, including calling Shivangi a witch.

The confrontation visibly upset Shivangi, who was seen crying after the argument. She then turned to Harshad Chopda, her friend and former co-star, for support.

Harshad Chopda Becomes Angry

Harshad reacted strongly after seeing Shivangi in tears and appeared ready to confront Shreya. Shivangi, Akanksha Chamola and Ram Kapoor intervened as he became increasingly agitated.

He was heard demanding that Shreya stop speaking, while others in the house attempted to prevent the situation from becoming more serious. Harshad later said he wanted to speak with Shreya directly and assured fellow contestants that he would remain calm during the conversation.

However, his frustration continued as he made personal remarks about Shreya during the heated moment. The episode highlighted how quickly disagreements over food, health concerns and limited resources can lead to larger conflicts in the reality show environment.

Format Builds Pressure Among Inmates
