Big B: Due to the contestant’s family emergency, halts the “KBC” filming

Big B: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan said that he had to stop filming his quiz-based reality program “Kaun Banega Crorepati” in the middle of filming when a contestant’s spouse, who was with her, unexpectedly became ill.

The actor said on his blog that the moment the competitor got to the hot seat, the show was cut off. The celebrity said that he believed it would be unethical to continue the game even when the medical problem was under control.

“I felt it would not be ethical to continue the game with the wife when her husband is not feeling well. It would be playing on her mind and she would not be able to concentrate on the game..(sic)” he wrote on his blog. “Then had to do three episodes.. one earlier I stopped as soon as the contestant came on the hot seat, because her husband as companion got unwell.. was ok.

The octogenarian went on to say that he informed the production company of his choice and recommended delaying the shot to give the contestant’s spouse more time to recuperate.

He continued by saying that the veteran actor consented to put in more hours and film three episodes in a day rather than the customary two, despite the broadcast restrictions.

He said, “I told Production I would shoot another day, give the husband time to recover, even if it means working extra and dod 3 episodes instead of the regular 2 per day (sic) due to broadcast constraints.”

The icon is presently presenting Kaun Banega Crorepati’s latest season. It is the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? franchise’s official Hindi rendition.

The structure consists of multiple-choice questions where participants must choose the right response from four options. If they are unsure, they are given lifelines. Sony LIV and Sony Entertainment Television both broadcast the program.
