Education – Hundreds of students assembled outside educator Khan Sir’s coaching institute in Patna’s Musallahpur Haat area on Wednesday, a day after an alleged attack near the premises left a security guard injured. The gathering prompted a significant police presence as authorities worked to maintain order and investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Many students waiting outside the institute voiced concerns about safety and demanded swift action against those responsible. Several participants raised slogans seeking justice and stronger security measures for students attending classes at the centre.
Police Examine Evidence and Identify Suspects
Senior police officials confirmed that an investigation is underway. According to city police representatives, statements from witnesses are being collected while surveillance footage from the surrounding area is being carefully reviewed.

Khan Sir emphasized the importance of both personal security measures and police protection. He noted that while law enforcement officers responded and remain present at the location, preventive arrangements are also necessary to protect students and staff from future threats.
He urged authorities to take strict action against those responsible and expressed concern over the injuries sustained by the security guard. Describing the assault as serious, he said the victim suffered significant head injuries and required immediate medical attention.
