Their plan, however, quickly changed when they asked their father to look after the animal while they traveled before returning to school.

The rapper and actor shared a photo of himself holding a tiny brown toy poodle while appearing far from thrilled about the situation. The expression on his face added to the humor of the post, particularly because the dog was reportedly the pet his daughters had wanted.

A Promise That Quickly Changed

According to Ludacris’ playful account, his daughters first approached him about getting another dog. He agreed on the condition that they would take care of it themselves.

The daughters responded with excitement and thanked their father, telling him how much they loved him. But their next request appeared to undermine the agreement they had just made. They asked whether he could take care of the dog while they went out of town before the new school term began.

Ludacris, whose real name is Christopher Bridges, has four daughters. He welcomed two children with model Eudoxie Mbouguiengue, whom he began dating in 2009 before they married in 2014.

The couple welcomed their first daughter together in 2015. Eudoxie later announced in 2021 that they were expecting another child. Ludacris also has two daughters from previous relationships.

Ludacris began his entertainment career as a DJ before establishing his record label, Disturbing tha Peace, during the late 1990s. He initially released his debut album, Incognegro, independently.

His career took a major step forward when “What’s Your Fantasy,” featuring Shawnna, became a Top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. The album was subsequently reissued by Def Jam Recordings under the title Back for the First Time.

The album reached No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and produced another successful single, “Southern Hospitality,” featuring Pharrell. His work in music has earned him three Grammy Awards, along with several other major honors.

Ludacris has also built a significant career in film and television. He became widely known to movie audiences through his role as Tej Parker in the Fast & Furious franchise, first appearing in 2 Fast 2 Furious.
