Toxic – Powerful Female Characters Take Center Stage in New Film Preview

Toxic – The makers of director Geethu Mohandas’s upcoming film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown Ups have unveiled a fresh promotional video highlighting the influential women at the heart of the story. The latest glimpse shifts attention from the film’s male lead, Rocking Star Yash, to the strong female characters who appear set to play a defining role in the narrative.

Toxic powerful female characters preview

The production banner KVN Productions released the special video across its official social media platforms on Wednesday. Alongside the clip, the studio confirmed that Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown Ups is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on August 26, 2026. The preview, titled “Ladies & Ladies,” offers audiences a first look at the women who shape the film’s mysterious and high-stakes world.

A New Perspective on the Film’s Story

Unlike conventional promotional material, the newly released teaser places its spotlight entirely on the female cast. Rather than revealing key plot points, the video focuses on creating curiosity through striking visuals, dramatic styling, and a suspenseful atmosphere. Each sequence hints that the women in the story possess influence, authority, and motivations that could significantly impact the film’s direction.

The overall presentation blends stylish cinematography with an intense mood, suggesting that every major character has a unique identity and purpose within the fictional universe.

Ensemble Cast Leaves a Strong Impression

The preview features an impressive lineup that includes Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth, and Huma Qureshi. Although only brief glimpses of their characters are shown, each actor is presented with a distinct screen presence.

Nayanthara appears in a commanding avatar, while Kiara Advani brings a blend of elegance and emotional depth. Tara Sutaria is shown with effortless confidence, Rukmini Vasanth projects determination and intensity, and Huma Qureshi adds another layer of mystery through her composed yet powerful appearance. Together, their performances suggest that the film’s narrative will be driven by multiple strong personalities rather than a single central figure.

Voice-Over and Disclaimer Add Mystery

One of the notable elements of the promotional video is its female voice-over, which appears to narrate events from a woman’s perspective. Without revealing too much, the narration contributes to the suspense and reinforces the film’s themes of strength, resistance, and individuality.

The teaser also begins with an unconventional disclaimer directed at viewers of different generations, humorously advising children, parents, grandparents, and even great-grandparents to stay away. The playful warning immediately establishes the film’s mature tone while reflecting its bold storytelling style.

Film Planned for a Global Release

Directed by Geethu Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown Ups features Yash not only as the lead actor but also as one of the film’s producers. The project is being produced by KVN Productions in association with Monster Mind Creations.

The film has been shot simultaneously in Kannada and English to reach a wider international audience. In addition, dubbed versions will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam, expanding its accessibility across multiple regions. With its multilingual release strategy and star-studded cast, the makers are aiming for a large-scale global theatrical launch on August 26, 2026.

The latest promotional video offers only a brief look into the film’s universe, but it clearly signals that the women of Toxic will play a central role in shaping its story. As anticipation continues to build ahead of release, audiences can expect more promotional material in the coming weeks.
