Results – Andhra Pradesh Intermediate Supplementary Exam Outcomes Released
Results – The Board of Intermediate Education Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP) has announced the results of the Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Examinations (IPASE) 2026, bringing relief to thousands of students who appeared for the examinations conducted across the state. The supplementary exams were held from May 21 to June 5 at 1,069 examination centres. Evaluation of answer scripts was completed between June 7 and June 13 at 13 dedicated valuation centres, allowing the board to publish the results as scheduled.

Pass Percentage Shows Positive Trend
The latest results indicate encouraging performance among students in both General and Vocational streams. In the First Year General category, 3,97,063 students successfully cleared the examination out of 4,71,864 candidates, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 84 percent. The First Year Vocational stream recorded a pass rate of 79 percent.
For Second Year students, the results were even stronger. The General stream achieved a pass percentage of 92 percent, while the Vocational stream posted an impressive 93 percent success rate.
The board’s data also highlights a gradual improvement in First Year General results over the past few years. The pass percentage, which stood at 77.54 percent in 2023, has steadily increased to reach 84 percent in 2026.
Betterment Candidates Register Significant Gains
A considerable number of students who appeared under the betterment category managed to improve their academic performance. Out of 2,29,034 candidates seeking better scores, 1,35,435 students succeeded in enhancing their results.
Gender-wise analysis revealed mixed trends. Female students performed better than male students in the First Year category, recording a success rate of 39 percent compared to 36 percent among boys. However, in the Second Year examinations, boys slightly outperformed girls, achieving a 56 percent pass rate against 54 percent for female candidates.
Welfare Institutions Lead Institutional Rankings
Among educational institutions, BC Welfare Colleges emerged as the strongest performers. These colleges recorded a pass percentage of 75 percent in the First Year and 84 percent in the Second Year examinations.
AP Tribal Welfare institutions secured the next position, registering 66 percent in First Year and 69 percent in Second Year results. Government Junior Colleges reported pass percentages of 45 percent and 58 percent in the respective years.
Meanwhile, Private Unaided Junior Colleges recorded 35 percent success in First Year examinations and 54 percent in Second Year examinations.
MPC Stream Tops Subject-Wise Performance
Among various academic streams, MPC students delivered the best results. The stream recorded a pass percentage of 41 percent in the First Year and 59 percent in the Second Year examinations.
The MEC stream followed closely, with 40 percent students clearing the First Year examinations and 56 percent succeeding in the Second Year category.
District-Wise Results Highlight Strong Performers
District-level data showed notable variations in student performance. In the First Year General category, Alluri Sitharama Raju (ASR) district secured the highest pass percentage at 79 percent. Anakapalle followed with a pass percentage of 64 percent.
For Second Year General examinations, Anakapalle district emerged as the top performer with 82 percent, while ASR district secured the second position with 80 percent.
Students Can Access Results Online and Through WhatsApp
Human Resources Development Minister Nara Lokesh shared details of the IPASE 2026 results through his social media post. He informed students that the results are available on the official BIEAP results portal and can also be accessed through the Mana Mitra WhatsApp service.
The minister noted that among First Year candidates, 1,35,435 students, representing 59 percent of those who applied for improvement, successfully enhanced their scores. In the Second Year category, 48,149 students improved their performance out of 91,303 candidates. Additionally, 57,327 students passed and improved their results from a total of 1,02,018 candidates who appeared.
