YouthProtest – Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is set to visit Kota on June 17 as the opposition intensifies its campaign over the NEET-UG paper leak controversy and broader concerns surrounding competitive examinations. The visit comes ahead of the scheduled re-examination process and is expected to focus on issues affecting students and job aspirants across the country.
Congress Raises Questions on Examination System
Speaking on Wednesday, senior Congress leader Sachin Pilot said Gandhi’s visit aims to highlight the concerns of students who believe they have been unfairly affected by repeated incidents of question paper leaks and examination irregularities. According to Pilot, millions of families have invested years of effort and resources into education, only to face uncertainty because of alleged failures in the examination system.
Pilot argued that those responsible for overseeing the country’s education framework must be held accountable. He also reiterated the party’s demand for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, stating that the controversy has raised serious questions about administrative responsibility.
