Students Raise Concerns Over Safety

The coaching institute, operated by educator Faizal Khan, popularly known as Khan Sir, witnessed unrest after news of the incident spread among students. A large number of learners assembled outside the centre, expressing concern over security arrangements and demanding strict action against those responsible.

According to preliminary information, the injured security guard was taken to the hospital immediately after the attack. Authorities confirmed that he remains under treatment while investigators continue to collect evidence related to the case.

Police Begin Investigation

The coaching centre is situated near Musallahpur Haat, a prominent educational hub in Patna. Police officials stated that a case has been registered against unidentified individuals. Investigators are recording statements from the injured guard as well as local residents who may have witnessed the incident.

Senior Superintendent of Police Kartikeya K. Sharma said the matter is currently being treated as a case involving physical assault. He noted that law enforcement teams are examining all available information to determine the exact sequence of events and identify those involved.

Officials also indicated that one possible angle under examination is an alleged dispute linked to operators of coaching institutes in the area. However, police have not announced any final conclusions and said the investigation remains ongoing.

Damage Reported at the Institute

Sources familiar with the incident said unidentified individuals allegedly entered the premises, damaged parts of the coaching institute and office area, and created panic among students and nearby residents. Reports also suggested that gunfire was heard during the disturbance, causing fear in the surrounding locality.

The incident has attracted considerable attention because the coaching institute is one of the most recognized educational centres in the region and attracts students from different districts of Bihar.

Khan Sir Makes Allegations

Speaking to media representatives, Khan Sir claimed that the attack may have been linked to competition among coaching institutes. He alleged that certain anti-social elements arrived at the centre and began threatening staff members before assaulting security personnel.

Referring to recent examination results, he stated that many students had successfully qualified in the Bihar Police recruitment process and that staff members had been occupied with academic activities related to those results. He further alleged that some individuals were unhappy with the institute’s comparatively affordable fee structure.

While making these claims, Khan Sir stressed that the matter should be thoroughly investigated so that responsibility can be fixed based on evidence gathered by law enforcement agencies.

Chaos Following Reports of Firing

Describing the situation during the incident, Khan Sir said confusion and panic spread quickly in the area after gunfire was reported. He claimed that several rounds were fired, creating fear among people present nearby.

He also shared information about the injured security guard, who was admitted to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) for treatment. Images of the injured guard were shown to media personnel as the institute sought stronger action against those responsible.

Meanwhile, police teams continue their investigation, and authorities have assured that statements from witnesses and the injured guard will play an important role in establishing the facts surrounding the incident.
