Entertainment – Shivya Pathania Leads Himalayan Art Reality Series SPECTRA
Entertainment – Actress Shivya Pathania is preparing to headline and host “SPECTRA,” an upcoming reality series that takes a refreshing approach by focusing on creativity and human expression instead of the conflicts commonly associated with television reality shows.

The new series brings together seven artists — Aathira Mohan, Athira Dev, Sneha Chakraborty, Riya Malra, Sakshi Khullar, Stanlee, and Zake — who travel through the Himalayan region while creating artworks inspired by nature and their surroundings. The show explores how art and the environment can connect people emotionally without relying on scripted confrontations or manufactured entertainment.
A Different Direction for Reality Television
Produced by Harsh Mainra under the banner of Versatile Motion Pictures, “SPECTRA” carries the slogan “No Drama – No Fight, Only Fundamentally Right.” The creators say the program aims to offer viewers a calmer and more meaningful viewing experience centered on imagination, personal growth, and environmental awareness.
Shivya Pathania described the project as one of the most unusual experiences of her career. According to the actress, the series was filmed without scripted scenes or staged emotional moments, allowing the participants to react naturally to the isolated mountain environment.
She explained that the cast and crew spent time deep within forests and mountainous regions, where daily experiences unfolded spontaneously. Being someone who personally connects with life in the mountains, Shivya said the setting held emotional value for her and helped create an atmosphere that felt genuine and peaceful.
Artists Create Amid Himalayan Landscapes
Throughout the series, the participating artists are challenged to produce original artworks while adapting to changing weather conditions and remote landscapes. The concept places equal emphasis on artistic freedom and the emotional impact of nature on creativity.
Shivya also shared that she hopes the show encourages viewers to reconnect with interests they may have left behind over time. She believes many people once enjoyed painting, sketching, or other creative activities but eventually stopped pursuing them due to practical responsibilities or lack of confidence.
According to her, “SPECTRA” attempts to remind audiences that creativity remains an important part of personal expression and emotional well-being. She added that the program is designed not only for professional artists but also for individuals who still carry an interest in art somewhere within themselves.
Focus on Nature and Emotional Connection
The actress further stated that one of the central ideas behind the show is strengthening awareness about nature and human connection with the environment. She said the makers would consider the project successful if viewers pause to think about the importance of preserving natural spaces and maintaining a relationship with creative expression.
Unlike traditional competition-based reality programs, “SPECTRA” does not revolve around eliminating participants or crowning a single champion. Instead, the journey itself is positioned as the main achievement of the series.
Producer Harsh Mainra also highlighted the environmental message attached to the project. He explained that the series goes beyond visual beauty and carries a conservation-focused theme built around the message “No Forest, No Future.”
According to Mainra, the Himalayan backdrop was intentionally chosen to emphasize the fragile relationship between nature, climate awareness, and artistic inspiration.
Premiere Event Showcases Himalayan Artwork
Ahead of the show’s release, the makers organized a Blue Carpet Premiere and Art Exhibition on May 19 at Fairfield by Marriott Mumbai Andheri. The event featured several artworks created by the participating artists during their Himalayan expedition.
Industry guests attending the exhibition were given an early look at the paintings and creative pieces developed throughout the filming process. The event also introduced the audience to the show’s broader vision of combining entertainment with artistic and environmental themes.
“SPECTRA” is expected to stand apart in the reality television space by offering viewers a quieter and more reflective storytelling format built around art, travel, and nature.
