AndhraPradesh – Naidu Holds Key Delhi Talks on Projects and Investments

AndhraPradesh –  Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is scheduled to visit New Delhi on Monday to participate in a series of important meetings with senior Union ministers, policy experts, and international development representatives. The visit is expected to focus on infrastructure projects, financial support from the Centre, and long-term development planning for the state.

Meetings Planned With Senior Union Ministers

According to the official itinerary, Naidu will leave Hyderabad in the morning and arrive in the national capital around 11:30 am. Soon after reaching Delhi, he is expected to hold discussions with Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The meeting is likely to cover administrative coordination and issues connected to Andhra Pradesh’s development priorities.

Later in the day, the Chief Minister will meet Union Jal Shakti Minister C. R. Patil. Discussions are expected to centre on pending central projects, water resource management, and funding support for infrastructure initiatives in Andhra Pradesh.

Focus on Development and Economic Planning

In the afternoon, representatives from the World Bank are scheduled to meet Naidu to review ongoing development programmes and future collaboration opportunities. The interaction is expected to include discussions on investment strategies, public infrastructure, and implementation of state-level projects supported by international agencies.

At around 4 pm, the Chief Minister will attend the Confederation of Indian Industry Business Summit at Hotel Taj Palace in New Delhi. The event organised by Confederation of Indian Industry is expected to bring together policymakers, industrial leaders, and investors to discuss economic growth and business opportunities across sectors.

Discussions With Economic Experts and NITI Aayog Members

During the evening, Naidu is also expected to meet economist S. Mahendra Dev along with members of NITI Aayog. The discussions are likely to focus on economic reforms, state planning, and strategies to improve investment and employment opportunities in Andhra Pradesh.

Officials stated that the Chief Minister will remain in Delhi overnight following the completion of the scheduled meetings.

Nara Lokesh Begins Singapore Visit

At the same time, Andhra Pradesh Minister for Education, Information Technology and Electronics Nara Lokesh will begin an official visit to Singapore on Monday. The visit is aimed at strengthening international partnerships and exploring opportunities in technology, urban development, and innovation.

As part of his programme, Lokesh will attend the Joint Implementation Steering Committee meeting at the NTI office during the morning session. The discussions are expected to review collaborative projects and potential investment partnerships involving Andhra Pradesh.

Meetings With Industry and Design Leaders

In the afternoon, Lokesh is scheduled to meet executives from the Commodities Intelligence Centre at Suntec City. The interaction is likely to focus on technology-driven market systems and opportunities related to trade and investment.

He will later hold discussions with representatives of DP Architects regarding urban infrastructure and design-related initiatives. The meeting is expected to explore ideas connected to modern city planning and future development projects in Andhra Pradesh.

State Looking to Expand Global and National Partnerships

The simultaneous visits by Naidu and Lokesh highlight the Andhra Pradesh government’s efforts to secure both central assistance and international cooperation for the state’s growth plans. Officials believe these engagements could support future investments, infrastructure expansion, and policy coordination in key sectors including technology, water management, education, and industrial development
