Accident – Two young men lost their lives following a motorcycle accident near the Majlis Park Metro station in North Delhi’s Bhalswa Dairy area late Sunday night, according to police officials.

Authorities said the crash occurred around 9 pm on a loop road that connects Ring Road to Wazirabad, close to the metro station. Police were alerted shortly after the incident and reached the location to find a white motorcycle abandoned near a roadside drain.
Initial findings suggested that the vehicle bore a Delhi registration number, though the exact cause of the crash remains unclear at this stage. There were no immediate eyewitnesses available when officers arrived at the scene.
Victims Taken to Hospital by Passersby
Before police reached the spot, local residents and passersby had already shifted the injured individuals to Babu Jagjivan Ram Hospital. However, doctors declared both men dead on arrival.
Officials later identified the victims as Saf Ali, who lived in Sangam Vihar in the Burari area, and Shahid, a resident of JJ Colony in Bawana. Their bodies have been kept in the hospital mortuary, where post-mortem examinations are expected to be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
Questions Over Possible Third Rider
During the preliminary investigation, information emerged suggesting that a third individual may have been riding with the victims at the time of the crash. It is believed that this person might have fallen into a drain located beneath the loop road.
However, police have not confirmed this detail officially. Search efforts and verification are ongoing to establish whether a third person was indeed involved in the accident. Authorities are also trying to locate any missing individuals connected to the case.
Case Registered, Investigation Underway
Police have filed a case under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, including charges related to rash driving and causing death due to negligence. Officers stated that no eyewitnesses have come forward so far, making it difficult to reconstruct the exact sequence of events.
Investigators are examining the accident site, reviewing possible CCTV footage from nearby areas, and speaking to locals in an effort to gather more information.
